One of the best-known broadcasters in the UK, Caroline formerly co-hosted the 95.8 Capital FM Breakfast show, BBC Radio Five Live’s Breakfast Show, and Drivetime on LBC 97.3. She’s been broadcasting since she could talk, and is a regular face on British TV – from GMTV – where she did a stint at the Hollywood correspondent – to ITV’s This Morning, Sky News, BBC News, VH-1 and more.
According to Women’s Own magazine, Caroline is the woman who ‘took on Anne Robinson and won’ in a battle of wits on Celebrity The Weakest Link. She famously face-planted her dignity on BBC1’s Celebrity Total Wipeout, and refused a boar’s tongue on Heston’s Fairytale Feast (Channel 4). A journalist – who won the Price Philip Medal for journalism – and entertainer, host Caroline regularly brings the house down in LA where she performs stand-up at The Comedy Store and Flappers in Burbank.
She moved to Los Angeles in 2013, and is a keen runner, quiz-team nazi and day-dreamer. She also knocks up a mean roast lunch and apple crumble. Take that, Heston.
As a journalist and accomplished feature writer, Claire writes for various newspapers and magazines and has interviewed many iconic figures from Boris Johnson to Bono. She co-founded the award winning magazine division at Observer Standard Newspapers in 2004 and continues to write for and edit many of their magazines in the UK. She is also a budding screenwriter with two romantic comedies under her belt and a couple of TV projects in the pipeline.
She gained her BA honours in English Literature and Publishing from Oxford Brookes University, her Masters in Marketing from London’s Kingston University and she also spent a year in France studying Business at The Sorbonne in Paris.
Claire serves as an advocate for many social and environmental causes and has been a key player in the Bullivant family’s philanthropic projects in Africa. These include building schools in Kenya, a hospital in Zambia and setting up Bee Cooperatives for the widows in war-torn Uganda.
Claire moved to LA in 2006 and is a keen skier, hiker, sunshine lover and wine drinker. She also loves telling Americans she’s from Worcestershire – like the sauce – and hearing them say “Worcestershire.”
